On Dec. 29, 2007, Prof. Huiming Cheng, Deputy Director of IMR CAS and Prof. C. J. Lee, the Head of Nanotube & Nanodevice Lab, Korea University signed a Memorandum of Understand (MOU) on collaborative research in the field of advanced carbon materials. Both sides agree to promote academic cooperation on exchange students, research scholars and education and research in materials, and the joint research projects also will be encouraged by both sides.

Korea University was founded in 1905, and there are 18 colleges in the University. Throughout its more than 100 years development, it has become one of the best education and research institutions in Korea.
