Dr. CHEN Liang, Assistant Director, International Affairs Division, National Institute of advanced industrial science and technology (AIST), and Mr. Keizo HASHIMOTO, Associate Manager, International Affairs Division of AIST visited IMR at Mar.23, 2012. During their stay in IMR, Dr. CHEN Liang and Mr. Keizo HASHIMOTO paid a visit to IMR lab, and had a meeting with Prof. LIU Zhiquan and other researchers from Microelectronic Interconnect Material Division, as well as Dr. LI Shuyan, the Head of the International Cooperation office. 

The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) was reorganized in April 2001 as an incorporated administrative agency upon the integration of the 15 research institutes of the former Agency of Industrial Science and Technology, the former is Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Weights and Measures Training Institute under MITI.AIST is currently the largest public research organization in Japan.
