Prof. HAN Enhou Elected as President of World Corrosion Organization

Prof. HAN Enhou from the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences was elected as president of World Corrosion Organization on the general assembly held in Canada on Mar.8th.

The World Corrosion Organization (WCO) is a Non-profit and Non-governmental organization associated with the United Nations. It represents 28 societies with significant interest and activity in corrosion research and abatement on five continents with a combined membership of more than 50,000 professionals in the field. The WCO is dedicated to facilitate global implementation of best practices in corrosion protection for public welfare. It has done extraordinary work to raise public awareness of corrosion to the public, identify world best practices of corrosion mitigation and facilitate provision of corrosion control expertise.
