Prof. LU Ke Awarded with TMS Fellow Award

Prof. LU Ke from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) was awarded with the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) Fellow Award on March 1, 2017 at the TMS–AIME Awards Ceremony.

The Class of Fellow is TMS’s highest honor. To be inducted, the candidate must be recognized as a leading authority and contributor to the practice of metallurgy, materials science, and technology.

Prof. LU Ke is credited for “seminal contributions to the understanding of the mechanical properties of metals and nanocrystalline materials and for his world-class leadership of materials research”.

The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) is a professional society that connects minerals, metals, and materials scientists and engineers who work in industry, academia, and government positions around the world. It is one of the most influential societies in the history of materials science.
