The 5th Carbon Catalysis Seminar was held in the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) from May 12 to 13, 2017.
This seminar attracted more than 110 scientists from numerous top-class universities and institutes around China, such as Qinghua University, Peking University and institute of Sinopec.
The theme of this seminar is “carbon nanomaterial’s function in the transformation from traditional energy to new energy”.
This seminar constructed a stage for scientists to discuss the key matters in the field of catalysis, such as the design and preparing technology of nanomaterial, the representation and catalysis theory, the catalysis of petroleum and chemical industry, low carbon circular economy and the transformation of biomass.
During the seminar, the attendees also visited relevant laboratories and research facilities in Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science.
