Recently, Clarivate Analytics Company has released Highly Cited Researchers 2017 list. Three scientists from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) have been named highly cited researchers, including Prof. CHENG Huiming, Prof. LU Ke and Prof. LI Feng.

Highly Cited Researchers list identifies the world’s most influential researchers across 21 main fields of science. Over 3000 researchers from more than 900 institutes around the world earned the distinction.

These researchers have distinguished themselves by publishing a high number of papers that rank in the top 1% most-cited in their respective fields over a recent 11-year period. Such consistent production of highly cited reports indicates that the work of these researchers has been repeatedly judged by their peers to be of notable significance and utility.

Among the Highly Cited Researchers 2017, 44 scientists are from Chinese Academy of Sciences.
