State Administration of Press Publication, Radio, Film and Television recently released the “China’s 100 Top Journals” list. Acta Metallurgica Sinica, undertaken by Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) was among it for the third times in a row.

Acta Metallurgica Sinica is a special journal focusing on metallurgy and metal materials, started in 1956, authorized by Chinese Association of Science and Technology, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Metals, undertaken by IMR, and published by Science Press.

Acta Metallurgica Sinica mainly publishes original research papers and also invited review papers in the field of metallurgy, materials science and engineering. It is a core journal in China with a long history and high academic impact.
