Prof. Han Enhou from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) was invited to Gordon Research Conference (GRC)— Aqueous Corrosion and delivered a lecture entitled “Corrosion of Alloys in Pressurized Water Reactor Nuclear Power Systems: In-Situ Detection, Mechanisms, Understanding and Lifetime Prediction”.
Prof. Han Enhou is the director of National Engineering Research Center for Corrosion Control of Metals and the director of CAS Key Laboratory of Nuclear Materials and Safety Assessment. He is also the President of World Corrosion Organization.
GRC are a group of prestigious international scientific conferences organized by a non-profit organization of the same name. The conference topics cover frontier research in the biological, chemical, and physical sciences, and their related technologies. They provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of frontier research and their related technologies. The conferences have been held since 1931, and have expanded to almost 200 conferences per year. The GRC on Aqueous Corrosion includes timely presentations from leading international scientists covering the state-of-the-art.
