2018 Annual Meeting of Joint Research Center for Nuclear Materials of Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) and the Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute (SNERDI) was held in IMR on September 27, 2018.

Prof. HAN Enhou, head of CAS Key Laboratory of Nuclear Materials and Safety Assessment, delivered the 2018 annual work report of Joint Research Center in the meeting. He introduced the major research progress and scientific achievements of the Joint Research Center. Prof. WU Xinqiang and Prof. SUN Mingyue also made reports about environmental fatigue and metal forming.
