Clarivate Analytics recently released its 2018 Journal Citation Reports. The citation data of three journals sponsored by the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) has made the considerable progress. Above all, Journal of Materials Science & Technology (JMST) gained an Impact Factor of 5.04 and ranked as top 3 in the SCI metallurgy journals in Q1 zone. The other two journals of Acta Metallurgica Sinica English Letters and Acta Metallurgica Sinica (in Chinese) also hit a new high.
