Recently, Prof. YANG Ke of Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) was honored as one of the first Fellows of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSB) at the 2023 Chinese Biomaterials Congress. 

Fellow of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials is the highest lifelong honor for members of the Society, and it is a recognition of members who have made outstanding contributions to biomaterials research and development and the work of the Society. The inaugural Fellow of the Society of Biomaterials in China was elected from Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Fellows of the International Union of Biomaterials Science and Engineering and Prof. YANG Ke was honored with the title of Fellow of the Union in 2016.
