Brief Introduction
The Materials Process Modeling Division is under the direct leadership of the Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science. With a background in such major projects as electric power stations, high-speed railways, marine engineering, metallurgical equipment, and numerical modeling and experimental investigations, we devote ourselves to research activities related to developing high-performance materials and predicting defects and the microstructural and mechanical properties of materials in hot processing. We work diligently to optimize processing parameters and develop a series of technologies to fulfill the urgent need for key materials and products in the domestic area. Research achievements have been successfully applied in more than 50 companies. Our “Visual Casting and Forging Technology” received the Liaoning Science & Technology Invention Gold Award. The research staff has been awarded the CAS Established Outstanding Achievement Awards of Science & Technology by CAS.
