Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT) and Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR, CAS) extended the Exchange Agreement for the fifth time to continue the academic exchange on April 18, 2016.

Prof. Takashi Ohnishi, President of TUT and Science Council of Japan, signed the agreement with Prof. YANG Rui, Director of IMR. This partnership has gained many achievements in cross-cultural communication and academic collaboration since the first agreement between two institutions in 1996. Prof. Takashi Ohnishi also indicated the prospect to promote the further cooperation based on the new agreement.

After the signing ceremony, Prof. Takashi Ohnishi visited the laboratory of Technical Support Division.
